We are located off the square in Hartland, Devon – a unique rural village with a chair-making workshop, a teacher of cabinet-making, two potteries, a natural history gallery, bakery, general store and post office. We are in a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The Hartland and North Devon Heritage Coasts, together with the North Devon Biosphere Reserve, make up one of the finest protected landscapes in England.

Evening meals are served at the three village pubs or at Hartland Quay Hotel.

Buses run to and from Barnstaple, Bideford and Bude, several times a day

For walkers, Merlyn will usually be able to offer a drop-off and pick up service to and from Hartland Quay, two and a half miles away
